On the 15th of Feb 2011, I went to my internship at Metro Theatre for the first time. My first day there was a training experience and I learned how to manage the lighting and sound cues. It was an interesting experience for me because I got a chance to see what it would really be like behind the scenes of a production. Working with real actors and directors allowed me to get a feel for what film is like in the real world. At the moment I am still in training and I will be able to help with the actual production on February 19th, which is opening night. From the 19th of February to the 18th of March the Metro Theatre is hosting a production called “The Dinning Room”. The tickets are only 21$ and the show runs on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights, with the occasional Sunday afternoon show. This play is suitable for all ages!
That's really cool that you get to go behind the scenes and see all the lighting and sound cues. The play sounds like it will be a wonderful success, good luck with the rest of your internship!
